Chinese courses at the Confucius Institute of the University of Thessaly will help you understand the language, ideograms and special philosophy of this great culture.<\/p>\n

Chinese language courses can help you advance your career, expand your business, communicate with your Chinese clients and friends, or simply travel in China.<\/p>\n

Our teachers are experienced and fully certified teachers.<\/p>\n

The Confucius Institute of the University of Thessaly is a modern center of Chinese language and culture that offers Chinese language courses of all levels, Chinese language translation and interpretation, networking with the local labor market and support for studying in China.\u00a0Courses are divided into semesters during the school year: winter (September-January), spring (February-July).<\/p>\n

The adult sections are aimed at ages 18 and over, while there is a specially designed program for children.<\/p>\n

The adult classes start from the beginner level to the English Proficiency equivalent level and it takes a total of 5-6 years to reach the English Proficiency equivalent level.<\/p>\n

Students, alongside the language, learn about Chinese culture and the culture of China. In detail, the levels of Chinese language knowledge for adults are as follows,<\/p>\n

In addition to HSK diplomas, school-aged students can take classes and take exams to obtain one of the YCT (Youth Chinese Test) Chinese for Children diplomas. By passing one of the Chinese language exams for children, they gain more confidence and advance to the next level, having laid the right foundations in a particularly demanding language such as Chinese.<\/p>\n
